When we come up with a publishing house or styled shootwhat we are looking for first and foremost is to have fun and explore our creativity. And sometimes, as in this one, tell a story through a visual narrative. From here comes ‘involution’, one inspiration for different non-girlfriends or girlfriends. And so begins this ambiguous story…
Once upon a time there was a normal girl on her wedding day, about to get married, and at the last moment she changes her mind and flees through the park (that idyllic place where all couples are photographed). A bride on the runwho flees through the streets arriving at an automatic laundry: she strips off her bridal look, wraps up, takes a cup of coffee and meditates with nostalgia on her decision. A bride who breaks with expectations, taking refuge in the streets she has known since childhood, the streets of her neighbourhood to enjoy her freedom and rebellion : a wooden bench, some pipes and the last spells of the cold winter that comes to an end… Or perhaps everything has been a dream
A ‘non-girlfriend’ who flees from nuptial classicisms in search of a more personal style.
Maybe we just gave ‘rewind’ to the recorder and the whole sequence has gone backwards, ups. Who knows! What is certain is that our protagonist is a contemporary girl who defines herself as a ‘no-girlfriend’ who flees from nuptial classicisms and looks for a more personal style. A bride who mixes garments in a look with superposition of styles combining vintage, grunge and kitsch. A girl that for her bridal look opts for the handcrafted and eclectic sewing of Sara Lage, vintage shoes type amulet of L’Arca, tiara type headdress of Martina Dorta, blue plumeti stockings and bridal bouquet of Arbolande.
Detached from her wedding dress our protagonist dresses with a spectacular wool coat of Sara Lage, delicate lingerie and golden wedge espadrilles of Chestnut. A lookthat shows us -and transmits- her intimacy, vulnerability and feelings. And from here to her most urban look, that of the rebellious girl returns to her daily life with a total lookin blue night(sleeping dress, plumeti stockings and espadrilles with velvet ribbon), only broken by the pink of the coat that reminds us of the girl she is.
The beauty look, devised by Elena Rivera Asesorarte, also accompanies this story, reflected in the naturalness of makeup (which starts from the innocence of a no-makeup and rises in tones for the most rebellious look; and of the hairstyle, which goes from loose hair with surfrous waves to uninhibited upwind… That which becomes our protagonist to put on the world for a montera.

And very likely you are seeing this post from top to bottom, but if you change perspective and start with the (supposed) final, you will discover that the images of Silvia Serena keep secret all a new story -of one, now yes, bride- to tell ;D
A bride who mixes garments and styles combining vintage, grunge and kitsch to create her own style.
