Paula is Spanish and Alex is Polish. They met in London where they both worked and where love arose to the rhythm of salsa, from the bar they used to frequent. Together they have had many special moments and adventures, whose chapter ‘la boda’ (because it will surely not be their last chapter to write) was held last spring in the middle of the Mallorcan countryside. A simple and beautiful intimate and open-air wedding for which they had the organization of wedding planner Passion Events. But before reaching this day, took place the request for hand surprise in his last holidays in Seville, Paula herself has told us how Alex surprised during a dinner, in desserts, and taking advantage of an oversight of this, change the covered “for a silver spoon that had the inscription ‘Will you marry me’, and then removed the ring. I did not think twice!
Paula and Alex chose to celebrate their wedding in Mallorca because “they love the island, the beaches and the Spanish food, the best in the world for them because of its simplicity, tradition and taste”, reveals Mariam, their wedding planner. “They wanted to celebrate a party with their loved ones to commemorate the LOVE they have for each other . They did not want a typical wedding but a party according to their way of being and tastes, and the result was a romantic wedding, simple and informal rustic style-vintage and bucolic“.
Passion Events: “It was a relaxed, sincere and fun wedding, without pretensions or cover-ups. A slow wedding in order!”
Paula and Alex decided to dress together, then walk hand in hand the way to the ceremony (almost 10 min. walk in the countryside).
A romantic and simple bucolic style wedding held in the middle of the Mallorcan countryside.
The ceremony took place in a marvellous forest of oaks, under an immense tree from which white cloths hung that gave it a very romantic and bucolic air. It was a ceremony “very emotional, fun and sincere, without pretensions or cover-ups. As they are!”, notes Passion Events ; sensations that were maintained throughout the day. As a curiosity, the brides chose to arrive together at the ceremony, walking hand in hand from the farmhouse where they also dressed together. One option is to share as a couple the moments of the preparations, which we have also seen in other slow weddings (such as the wedding of Lucía and Javier, and the wedding of Las Laura’s).
For dinner a beautiful Mediterranean garden of the estate was chosen, in which imperial tables and lantern lamps were arranged. Everything in tonos white and raw, to emphasize the greenery of the garden and the pastel tones of the flowers, with peonies, paniculata and olive tree. The truth is that a very slow, romantic and sweet atmosphere was created, in which both the brides and their guests enjoyed a perfect wedding day.
